TalkSum AI

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 September 2026

TalkSum AI is a voice recorder that turns speech into text on your phone. It is made by SOGE Digital Valley (“we”). This policy explains what happens to your data.

The short version: we do not collect it.

What TalkSum stores, and where

Internet use

TalkSum uses the internet for one thing only: downloading a speech or summary model that you ask for. The download comes from a public file host (GitHub or Hugging Face). Like any web server, that host can see your IP address and the file requested; it receives no recordings, text or identifiers from TalkSum. Everything else works in airplane mode.

What we do not do

Voluntary support payments

TalkSum is free. You can choose to support it from Settings → Support TalkSum. That payment is handled entirely by Google Play under Google’s privacy policy: TalkSum never sees your card, wallet or account details. TalkSum only receives Google Play’s confirmation that a support purchase succeeded, and remembers on your phone that you are a supporter. The Play Billing Library’s own diagnostic logging is removed from TalkSum. No recording or transcript is involved.

Permissions

Deleting your data

Delete a recording inside TalkSum, or uninstall the app to remove everything it stored. We hold no copy, so there is nothing to request from us.

Children

TalkSum is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new date.
